色の説明

銀色（ぎんいろ）とは、白金とも呼ばれる、美しい金属光沢のある灰色のことです。銀は古来から愛されてきた金についで貴重な金属であり、それぞれ太陽と月に例えられ、古来より並び称されてきました。また色としても古くから用いられており、『万葉集』でも山上憶良が「銀も金も玉も何せむに勝れる宝子に及かめやも」と詠んでいます。ちなみに、銀は白金（しろかね）とも呼ばれ、純粋無垢の意味をもっています。
